What is a Waste Transfer Note (WTN)?

A Waste Transfer Note is the duty-of-care document that records a transfer of non-hazardous waste between two parties - the transferor handing it over and the transferee receiving it. Both parties must keep a copy for at least two years.

Can one note cover repeated collections?

Yes. A WTN can cover repeated transfers of the same waste between the same parties for up to 12 months - sometimes called a season ticket. Enable the series option and set the start and end dates.

Does my data get uploaded anywhere?

Is there a Welsh version of the Waste Transfer Note?
