What the planner actually does
A day that holds up when it meets the road.
Ordered on real roads
Distances and drive times come from the road network, not from a straight line between two postcodes. A round that looks tight on a map and takes all afternoon is the thing this fixes.
Your own service times
How long a stop takes is learned from how long it has actually taken you, site by site. A tight yard that always eats twenty minutes is planned as twenty minutes.
The body fills up
When the load will not fit, a tip is inserted into the round at the point it is needed rather than left for the driver to work out at the third stop.
A lane per vehicle
Drag a job sideways to move the time, drag it down to put it on another vehicle. The driver is told, and you are asked before they are.
Booked times are protected
A stop with a window agreed with the customer can be locked, and the planner warns you rather than quietly moving it.
Nothing falls off the end
A scheduled job that did not happen goes back to unscheduled and is surfaced, instead of sitting on a day that has already gone.
