1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern your use of LoadSnap, a digital waste compliance platform operated by Web Hero Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
By accessing or using LoadSnap, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. The Service
LoadSnap provides digital waste tracking, compliance management, and DEFRA waste movement submission tools for waste carriers, receivers, brokers, and producers operating in the United Kingdom.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring that information you enter is accurate and up to date
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
You must not share your account with anyone outside your organisation. Each user must have their own account.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading waste data
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Interfere with the platform's infrastructure
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
- Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the platform
5. DEFRA Submission
LoadSnap submits waste movement data to DEFRA on your behalf. However:
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter
- We act as a conduit for submission, not as a guarantor of data accuracy
- You must verify all waste descriptions, EWC codes, weights, and carrier/receiver details before submission
- Errors in submitted data are your responsibility to correct via DEFRA's amendment process
6. Data Accuracy
You warrant that all data entered into LoadSnap — including waste descriptions, weights, carrier registrations, site permits, and driver information — is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Deliberate entry of false data may result in account termination and referral to relevant authorities.
7. Service Availability
We aim to provide 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruption.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, code, design, and branding of LoadSnap is owned by Web Hero Limited. Your data remains yours. We do not claim ownership of any waste records, documents, or business data you upload.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Breach these Terms of Service
- Use the platform for illegal activity
- Fail to pay subscription fees for more than 30 days
You may close your account at any time from Settings. Your data will be retained for the legally required period (see Privacy Policy) then deleted.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Web Hero Limited is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Errors in DEFRA submissions caused by incorrect data entry
- Actions of third-party APIs (DVLA, DEFRA, Environment Agency)
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
