I'm a waste carrier. The mandate isn't until October 2027. Why start now?

Two reasons. First: receivers go live a year earlier, so the sites you're tipping at will be asking for digital references from October 2026. Second: building twelve months of clean records before the deadline is the cheapest possible audit insurance.

Do my drivers need to download an app?

No. The driver portal is a PWA - they tap a link, add it to home screen, and they're done. Works offline, syncs when in range, no IT involvement, no Play Store reviews.

Does LoadSnap verify carrier registrations?

Yes. Every carrier on a job is checked against the Environment Agency public register in real time. Expired or unregistered carriers get blocked before the load is accepted.

Can I export data to Sage or Xero?

Direct integrations with Sage 50, Xero, and QuickBooks. CSV / API for anything else. Invoices generated in LoadSnap can push as bills/invoices in your accounting system.

Does it handle hazardous waste?

Yes - HWCNs, consignor / carrier / consignee sign-off, premises codes, and the H-code flagging that DEFRA requires. The AI flags hazardous classifications before a driver can submit a non-compliant ticket.

Can I still use spreadsheets to submit to DEFRA?

From October 2026, no. The new digital waste tracking service is API-only. You can keep your internal spreadsheets, but the submission to DEFRA itself has to be machine-to-machine.

What happens if I exceed my load count?

We email you at 80% and 100%. Overage loads are £0.50/load until the end of the cycle - no surprise charges, no hard caps.

Can I switch plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately, prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. No fees either way.

Can I export my data?

On any plan. CSV exports for jobs, loads, customers and WTNs. Pro and above can pull JSON via the API.
