17 days until digital waste tracking is mandatoryThe guide

Ask ’s waste data, in plain English.

Open Copilot from the sparkle beside the search bar and ask a real question: 'have we ever moved waste for ABC Plumbing?', 'what hazardous loads went out last month?'. It reads your jobs, transfer notes and receipts and answers with the exact records behind it. No filters, no exports, no spreadsheets.

Copilot

How much waste did we handle last month?

412.6 tacross 148 movements

Mostly mixed C&D from the Mill Lane job, with 12 hazardous loads. All 148 are filed with DEFRA.

How it works

A question, grounded in your own records.

Copilot never guesses. It searches your organisation's data with purpose-built tools, then answers from what it actually found — and links you straight to the source.

Natural-language search

Ask the way you'd ask a colleague. No query syntax, no remembering which filter lives where.

Cites every source

Each answer comes with the jobs, transfer notes and receipts behind it — one click to open any of them.

Your data only

Every lookup is hard-scoped to your organisation. Copilot can never see another company's movements.

Answers in seconds

What used to mean exporting a year of records and filtering by hand is now a single sentence.

Across the whole movement

Collections, carriers, receiving receipts, DEFRA status — Copilot reads the full chain of custody.

Built on the same engine

Powered by the same audited AI stack that classifies your loads — read-only, never altering a record.

In practice

The questions you'd normally ask a colleague.

The useful questions are rarely report-shaped. A customer rings for a quote and you want their history. An auditor asks about a hazardous load from months ago. A receipt hasn't come back from DEFRA and someone needs to know which one. Each used to mean an export and a spreadsheet; now it's a sentence. We wrote up how Copilot and the Claude connector work together on the blog. For trends and charts over time, use the analytics dashboard — Copilot is for finding the specific records.

  • Customer history in one ask

Every movement and job for a name, over any date range — before you've picked up the phone to quote.

  • Receipts and DEFRA status

Ask which receipts from a carrier or producer are filed and which are still outstanding, without opening the submissions view.

  • Names resolved for you

Ask about 'Carter's' and Copilot resolves it to the carriers and sites you actually work with.

Boundaries

What it can see — and what it can't.

An assistant that reads compliance records has to be boring about access, so this part is deliberately strict. Copilot's boundaries are enforced in the platform, not left to the model's judgement.

  • Your organisation, fixed from your login

The model never chooses whose data to search. Your organisation is resolved from your session and applied to every query, with database row-level security underneath.

  • Read-only, end to end

Copilot has no tool that creates, edits or deletes anything. Ask it to change a record and it will tell you it can only search.

  • 'No matching records' is an answer

If nothing matches, it says so rather than guessing. It never invents a movement, a weight or an EWC code.

  • Pro plan and above

Copilot and the MCP connector are included from the Pro plan upwards.

Questions

Copilot questions, answered.

01What data can Copilot see?
Your organisation's jobs, waste movement records (Waste Transfer Notes), receiving receipts, carriers and sites - the records already in your LoadSnap account. It reads nothing outside your organisation.
02Can Copilot see another company's data?
No. Your organisation is resolved from your login and bound into every lookup - the model never chooses which organisation to search - and database-level row security enforces the same boundary underneath.
03Can it change or delete records?
No. Copilot is read-only end to end. It can search and surface records; if you ask it to change something, it will tell you it can only search.
04What happens when there's no matching record?
It says so, plainly. Copilot only answers from records it actually finds - it never invents a movement, a weight or an EWC code - and every answer links the records it used, so you can check its working in one click.
05Which plans include Copilot?
Copilot and the MCP connector are available on the Pro plan and above. Once enabled, open it from the sparkle beside the search bar anywhere in LoadSnap and type your question. It opens as a pane down the right-hand side, which you can pin so the page stays beside it while you read.
