UK waste directory

Every registered waste carrier, broker and dealer, and every permitted waste site, drawn from the Environment Agency public registers and joined to the operator’s Companies House record. Free, and no paywall on the facts.

What’s on a listing

  • The registration itself — number, tier, type, dates, and whether it is current. Expired registrations are shown as expired, not hidden.
  • The company behind it — Companies House name, number, status, incorporation date, registered office and SIC codes, where we can verify the match.
  • Both registrations together — when the same company holds a carrier registration and operates permitted sites, each page links to the other.
  • What a site accepts — the permitted EWC codes, each linked through to the waste glossary.

Data comes from the Environment Agency public registers and Companies House. Registers change; always confirm a licence directly with the operator or the EA before handing over waste.
