Product · LoadSnap Connect

When both sides use LoadSnap,
the handoff is one scan.

Every load you book gets a unique LoadSnap code. Hand it to your receiver — if they're on LoadSnap too, they scan it at the gate and the whole receipt pre-fills: carrier, vehicle, EWC codes, hazardous flags, the lot. They just confirm the weight and sign. It's how we expect DEFRA Phase 2 to work, ready for you now.

How it works

A shared record, not a re-typed one.

Every load gets a code

LoadSnap mints a unique LS-XXXXX-XXXXX code on every collection — automatically, on every submission route.

Hand it over

The code shows in the app and on the transfer note. Give it to the receiver with the load.

One scan pre-fills the receipt

A receiver on LoadSnap scans or types it and the carrier's declared load drops straight into their receipt.

Confirm the weight

The operative adds the weighbridge weight and signs — no re-keying EWC codes or carrier details.

Two-way confirmation

The moment the receiver logs it, the carrier's record flips to 'received' — no chasing for proof.

Only what's on the note

The receiver sees only what already travels on the paper transfer note — never your charges or internal notes.

The network effect

Every carrier you onboard pulls their receivers in.

LoadSnap Connect only pays off when both ends are on LoadSnap — so each side has a reason to bring the other across. The more of your supply chain that joins, the less anyone re-types.

  • Nothing to switch on

It's on by default — every record is already shareable.

  • No lock-in for the receiver

Not on LoadSnap? The paper transfer note still travels as normal.

  • Ahead of the mandate

Built to mirror DEFRA Phase 2 so the switch is a non-event.

Carrier ↔ Receiver

One code links both records.

Questions

Good to know.

Nothing changes for them — the paper transfer note travels with the load exactly as today. The code is a shortcut that kicks in only when both sides are on LoadSnap.
